Set up and play
Print all three pages at 100% on A4 landscape paper. Cut the four cards on page one apart. Keep page two as the caller sheet and page three as the host guide. Provide large, age-appropriate counters.
- Show the eight caller pictures and agree the labels. In this set, the sock represents Stocking and the deer represents Reindeer. These are picture symbols for the game, not identification photographs.
- Give each player a card, mark FREE and demonstrate a winning line of three. Decide whether rows, columns and diagonals all count, and agree how to handle a tie.
- Shuffle the eight caller tiles or matching word slips. Draw one at a time, say its exact label and show the picture. Keep every called item aside.
- Check any claimed winning line against the call record. Different arrangements can still win together. Clear the cards and shuffle the calls for a fresh round.
Line wins may tie. Because every card contains all eight items, full-house games finish together. For more than four players, use pairs or extra copies and explain that some players share a layout.

Make it easier
Show the picture with each direct label. Model the distinction between the whole tree and the separate star picture. Players can point rather than read aloud.
