To make AI picture bingo on BingoGen.ai, first choose your content and review the words. After payment, the generator creates a picture for each word and arranges those pictures into different player cards. The free planning step is a word review, not a finished custom illustrated card.
1. Choose a topic or bring your own word list
Open the picture bingo maker. Enter a specific topic such as ocean animals or classroom objects. Choose “Suggest words for me” to build a list, or “Use my word list” to enter the exact vocabulary you want, one entry per line.
For a lesson, start with words learners already know. Try the CVC word list or ESL vocabulary lists. For a party, the Halloween list gives 30 concrete picture ideas.
2. Pick the grid size
Open “Card settings” to choose 3×3, 4×4 or 5×5. A 3×3 grid needs at least 8 words and includes a FREE centre. A 4×4 grid needs 16 words and has no FREE centre. A 5×5 grid needs 24 words and includes a FREE centre. The exact-word input accepts up to 30 entries.
3. Build and review your word list for free
Select “Build my word list”. Check spelling, suitability and whether each entry has a clear visual meaning. Review the word layout and edit any entries before choosing a pack. The finished sample cards shown on the page demonstrate the product; they are not newly generated pictures for your custom topic.
Remove ambiguous pairs such as cup and mug if your learners might not distinguish their pictures. For phonics or a specific curriculum, use your teacher-checked exact list rather than relying on a general topic prompt.
4. Choose a paid illustrated pack
Choose 50, 100 or 200 cards. The pack selector shows the current price before checkout. Custom AI art is created after payment, typically in 1–3 minutes. One illustration is created for each unique phrase and reused across shuffled player layouts.
The PDF includes player cards and a caller sheet. Different arrangements do not guarantee that only one player will win on any call. Agree how to handle simultaneous winners before the game.
5. Print a test sheet, then prepare the game
The picture PDF prints four cards per page. Open the file and print a single test sheet before printing the whole pack. Check margins, label size and picture contrast. Use the printing guide if your printer clips a border or makes text too small.
Give each player a card and counters. Keep the caller sheet, mark off each item as you call it, and check a winning line against those recorded calls. See bingo rules for winning patterns.
Can I try a complete game free?
Yes: ready-made classroom starter packs are separate free downloads. You can also use your own photos in the image builder and download a free four-card starter PDF with a caller sheet. Uploaded images stay in your browser. A custom AI illustrated pack requires payment.
